Build Your Ministry Foundation in APTS

To build big buildings, we need to have strong foundations. Very often, the most expensive part of the building is the foundation. And yet, the foundations are not seen. It is like paying for something that we cannot show off to others.

Being one of the few seminary in the world accredited with academic associations representing all three branches of the Protestant family, APTS is known for its high academic standards. But, we recognize the need to be firmly rooted on “the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” (Eph. 2:20) Our focus on foundational matters is seen not just in our formal curriculum. Life on our Baguio campus demonstrates our focus on the foundations. The fact that we have a “Prayer Mountain” on campus is testament of the focus on foundational matters of ministerial training. We do not lay foundations by simply teaching but we also model and practice them.

What Do Our Students Say?

We are richly blessed us with a beautiful campus, a good library and a fine faculty.

“My time in APTS has been an incredible journey for me. It was challenging and at the same time fun. However, one of the many reasons I’m so grateful for my time in the seminary was the attention drawn to balance both scholarship and spirituality. Yes, there were times when I was too focused on studies, but the school programme was managed in a way for students to live out theoretical studies into real life experience with God. For this I’m grateful for my time in APTS, for the ability to balance both spirituality with academic scholarship.”

“Since I graduated APTS in 1999, I have taught at the Acts of Faith, a Mongolian Bible School of AG, for 15 years. I’ve been called to serve the deaf community and we established the first deaf kindergarten in Mongolia in 2006, an information center in 2013 and the Association of Sign Language Interpreters in 2011. This is for increasing the accessibility and equal society for the deaf community. I’m doing my Ph.D in Psychology now and over the years I can testify that in APTS is where the foundation of my spiritual, intellectual and personal growth came to be.”
